I think the sell off gets serious when we start dipping 350+ points on the downside, until then this is just a blip,

I know its some points away but WATCH 2068 on the s$p

We drop there early next week and it could take the markets for a roll coaster ride...
 
funny Im watching TVIX and XIV....yesterday they moved more with the dow off 6 points than they are today with the dow nearly off 200 points, I just bought XIV on the dip to hedge against my short etfs...
 
and there it goes, no one touching this drop right now, free falling, this is just a sample of what its going to look like when before we have one of those massive 500 point drops...

and out of SOXS for a stunning 5% gain in 2 days.....out at $11.75, now maybe time to buy some SOXL but I think I hold off for the time being....


notice how forceful the markets are when they are lower, you see a lot of swings from -170 to -140 then a drop to to 17837 and the a jump to 17890, its as almost as if they are trying as hard as they can to swing it higher...on the up days though you notice they take it higher and just lay it flat for 5 hours then they swing it higher like they have been doing for nearly 3 weeks.....

You have nothing to fear, it's called a shake out. Yes we may end down a tad, but will close way off the lows. And we all know by Lunch CNBC will be saying "well off the lows" So relax.

I haven't watched cnbc in a while but I would like to know that up date around the lunch hour because I know they have a way of making things look happier than they actually appear to be to keep those viewers wanting more.....but I guess you can call this a shake out since 200+ point drop is really nothing to write home about, now a 2000 point drop in a week and yea I would say were onto something but a couple of points is nothing to worry about when the dow is up over 200% in 6 years....I remember in October when everyone started to panic, that panic lasted a whole 2 weeks and everything was back to normal, anyone with 401k worth a couple of million should just turn off their TV walk away and wait to come back next friday when the markets are all back at historical highs because we all know next week its break out week...new highs are a coming....no worries...we have seen this how many times before??? hundreds of times in the last 6 years...
