Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Sold at $11.87

Probably will break out above 12 but still sold. Had on way too much in that trade...but made a profit and will buy back below 11.50 next time around.

Now in more XIV at $26.50

Out of xiv @ $27.17

Premarket exit.

Great trade!

Thanks

now in TVIX at 3.07

lots of shares, was going to buy this morning at $2.95 but decided let me wait until it drops to $2.75 but all it did was move higher after the open. I shouldn't have chased it but since I made a great trade with XIV I figure why not go the opposite way into TVIX for some extra $$

Looking for somewhat of a daytrade in this one, looking for $3.15+ at the close but who knows, trading around $3.01, Will see, markets look weak on energy being lower but that could change.

At $3, it has to be lots of shares! I hope your commissions are OK.

Sitting on 2500 at the moment, I opened a new online account so the first 25 trades are on the house, after that every trade is $7, the other account I still have wants $0.005 a share after 500 shares, I needed to find a broker who had flat fees no matter the amount of shares, I usually trade 50-100 shares of the bigger 3x bullish ETFs, the inverse ones under $20,$15 and $10 like TZA, SOXS, ERY, SPXS, GASL, CVOL, TVIX, etc...I usually will trade 500-1000 share lots. With TVIX, I usually buy between 1000-3000 shares, and will average down every .25-.50 it sells off, right now though Im in at $3.07, little loss right now but things could change by the close, trying not to go all in since I feel the dow and the rest of the markets might start to trade higher, S$P is near resistance, if it breaks out I don't see any problem with new highs by end of FEB at 2100+

I wonder how these fixed price commissions work, since there are mandatory SEC or FINRA fees that have to be paid per share.
