Vix above 20....yes the same old story every single time it jumps above 20...and I mean every single time....
The last 20 times the vix has traded above 20 on average the s$p in 3 months has gained 8.8% and 6 months later 13.2%
This trend cannot continue as trends are meant to be broken. The mid 20s on the vix will be the new 20...maybe 30 becomes the new 20 but I know in this market they will do anything possible to keep that much fear out of the marketplace ..
So it almost feels like a guarantee that the market swings higher going into next week....

Both short term and intermediate term trends are now down with long term trend waivering. We are now in a short term (at least) bear market. It remains to be seen if it will be full blown bear. Odds greater than 50%. Can you buy in a bear market? Yes. I will be keeping a shorter leash on longs.
Sold All TVIX at $3.63
Hopefully it doesn't zoom up to $4+ usually after I sell this it usually jumps another 20-40%....energy is looking strong how ever watching the 200 day on the S$P (1972). If it breaks down below 1988 we are in for extremely heavy selling.
Will buy back TVIX on any drop where VIX is under 15....
