I don't think so, it has jumped over 40%:in the last week and half, the vix is above 20 so I would hold off with making any trade, the best time to buy tvix is under 2.50 or when the vix is under 14.....
if you buy, buy 1/4 position
last 2 days I bought small positions in xiv spxl and tna just to hedge against my CVOL and TVIX positions
If vix gets to 30+ you could see $5+ on tvix
Thanks for the response. I did attempt to buy TVIX over 2 hours ago and was told by IB there was a 500 share limit.
500 share limit? You mean a minimum amount of shares you have to buy?
No a maximum. "....order exceeds size limit of 500."
Wow, what if you buy in separate transactions, I have had no problems buying in 1000 share lots, even with CVOL.
Thanks for the help. I'll see what they have to say, if they ever bother to respond. My guess is there's some glitch somewhere.
