According to an article placed on Bloomberg the longest streak of consecutive days of S$P closing above it's 5 day moving average actually happened today!!!!!

The S&P 500 closed above its five-day moving average for 27 consecutive trading sessions. That’s the longest such streak in history, according to Jonathan Krinsky, chief market technician at MKM Holdings LLC.
 
Wow...15.5 to 17.2 in 5 weeks. Damn that's a huge move....if it was a dip below 15 they would release QE 4 by now..

Equity Valuations

The rally in American equities has pushed stock valuations to the highest since the end of 2009. The S&P 500 trades at 17.2 times the projected earnings of its members, up from a multiple of 15.5 last month. Profit for S&P 500 companies may rise 7.6 percent this year, estimates compiled by Bloomberg show.
 
Everyone except for the perma bears is making a KILLING. Perma bears are getting KILLED. If you're not a pig in the market then you're getting slaughtered it's as simple as that. Congrats to all leveraged longs, I think we still have about 100% uproom to go. Happy dip buying!

NEW YORK (AP) — Bert Lahr's Cowardly Lion costume from the classic film "The Wizard of Oz" has sold for more than $3 million at an auction in New York City.The big cat outfit had been authenticated as the one Lahr wore in the 1939 film. Its face is a sculpted likeness of the late actor.It sold at an auction of Hollywood items at Bonhams on Monday.A spokesman for costume owner James Comisar says a secondary costume used in the film was sold at auction in recent years for close to $1 million.
