Do you guys remember the sloppy chop and vertical ramps and plunges back in 08? Now, think about 7 years of crushing price discovery and hft's running the markets...Good grief the illiquidity of this next phase of the market will be like trading penny stocks.

ITs times like this all those market bulls wish there was at least one 10% correction a year but when you go on years and years without a 10% pullback you have to expect a downturn as severe as this one no matter what. Thats why NO ONE should be surprised by what is taking place, these aren't natural markets anymore, these are fed controlled markets but I will even go on to say that the fed has lost all credibility and that the say "don't fight the fed" will be a totally worthless statement going forward, it will be the first time in history of the federal reserve that you will be to "FIGHT THE FED"......
if markets go green I will be buying CHAU, that is a china ETF, I have a feeling that if US rallies there is a good chance of a relief rally in China tonight that could take CHAU back to $20+, its a very risky ETF thats why you should only trade it with less than 2% of your overall portfolio value!

And this is why 7 years of ZIRP was an absolutely reckless policy..."Emergency measures" are exactly that...I didn't agree with alot of what was done at the time (mainly due to the fact that they were responsible for the crisis in the first place), but after the market found lift-off in early 09, it was already time to begin to remove the measures...Here we are in Aug 2015, and now they can't even raise rates a measly 25 bps because they waited 7+ years to try and unwind these emergency measures.
Scary, you can get wiped out on a trip to the toilet. Stops haha, may not get triggered. The size of the bid ask in ES looked like a penny stock. The damage is done IMO, I would get out of this market on any rally, check back in 24 months. Unless you can spend the time monitoring it daily.
