And to give perspective to what I posted in response to his post regarding never a down day in land of perfect, I don't dispute CB interventions in index futures, just the comment about never a down day, which is non-factual, just look at a chart FGS.
Agreed. There have been enough overnight gap downs in the past month to put a dent in the mantra of just "buy and wait for the gap up". Where the CB intervention is really at its best are on those few really bad down days each month where it looks like it could turn into a mini-crash and then the "buy em ugly" bid comes in...The cleanest no heat longs you will ever see...those are picture perfect for the RM mantra.
