I took your advice before I read it, because I must suffer the zero free risk $$$ out there. I am long at 8796.5. Down only about 18 points so far. Let's see how far down I can ride this looming correction.

To make trading decisions based on your analysis of the situation you must either have big b@lls or small brains.
No offence intended but any other trader who hasn't done your analysis would have to be brain-dead to simply accept your opinion and copy your approach. I'm not saying you're wrong - I don't need to as time will tell us what's the truth here.
Plus I don't do the kind of analysis you have outlined to identify what the FOMC is doing or is thinking of doing. Therefore I don't have any evidence you are wrong so no point me arguing.

Don't think of Rick as an informed trader. He simply starts going after the fact when he sees markets doing what he wants to see. When the markets do the opposite he vanishes. His positions are like the Chinese fakemakers. Sim.
My entries are based on what I perceive, and considering what happened the past two years in January, with great reporting numbers on Q4 earnings THIS year? Yeah, I think we can push this higher. Might have to suffer some heat for the EOY profit taking, but so be it.
The FOMC is in control only slightly less than the level of the trade war. Which by the way, is only at an armistice stage. Until that phase 1 deal is signed, there is significant risk to the downside. VERY significant risk. This is why Rick disappeared in Oct 2018, May 2019 and Aug 2019.
If trade comes roaring it's ugly head, Rick will vanish with his ephemeral profits, because he's just...one of "those" types.
