looked weak in the afternoon down 1% from intraday high and then after close magically up half a percent on no news..
Ive been trying to tell folks this for years. They brainwash traders to believe being flat at days end.A backtest I saw recently said that if you had bought the S&P500 everyday on the open and sold it at the RTH close every day for the last 15 years, you would have basically made zero dollars on balance....nearly the entire returns over the last 15 years are attributable to overnight gaps up. Crazy right.
