Do any of you guys ever trade futures spreads? i.e. ES vs MDY or MDY vs TF?

A fav spread of mine was 3NQ/2TF. Made decent money but also came close to losing decent money. I've since not touched it for a while.

I like the link...I think they were mostly throwing everything they had to keep it from blowing up during Oct. I think once Oct runs through it will need FED action and without it..its hanging over a cliff

I don't believe QE will be granted unless markets fall by 20%, so they shall IMHO.

Agree....
QE 4 is being saved for when the Dow breaks below 14,000...but also keep in mind that on top of QE 4 rates are going to stay at 0% and probably during the next collapse will get NEGATIVE INTEREST RATES

Futures for Sunday night will most likely be very volatile due to some big economic news out of China, if they show strong economic numbers expect Triple digit open for dow ....I took a small position in XIV to hedge against some my short positions....

Sold that position today at $32.45...
XIV has gone straight up...zero pull backs in the last few weeks..

VIX just keeps dropping...now I'm hearing its going to stay low for quite sometime... Heard that before...I don't believe it...it's when volatility is quiet that you want to start buying VIX calls...because by the time you see the markets turn its already to late

IBM earnings after the close....I'm sure they guided so low on EPS and revenue that there should be no problem beating their bottom line...should be interesting to see how their cloud marketplace is doing since their is MASSIVE competition in that area of the market....

Funny IBM down nearly 7 bucks to near 52 week lows yet the SPY etf is actually up about 3 cents afterhours...,

Imagine if IBM was up $7, the futures would be up at least 1%

IBM revenue down 14 straight quarters ...how this stock is even trading above $100 is beyond me....how many more years of revenue drops does this company have left.., I'm sure Warren is cost averaging in right now at 52 week lows. ..
