Screaming about prices going up in a bull market is so patently ridiculous... what next? The pope is catholic? sex is fun?

I have lost $25k being short in two months. I have actually lost money 19 consecutive days .
Someone in my office says you would not just take 2 to the 19th power to figure the odds of this.
He says it's not a 50% chance on any given day. I say otherwise.
What does everyone think? If it is a 50% chance of up or down, i managed to hit a 131000 to 1 shot, only in reverse!

your logic and math is flawed
you assume a gaussian distribution
the market is not random. it is controlled by aggregate traders' action.
and prices are not evenly distributed across a "normal curve"
if you are going to trade, it pays to understand the math and probabilities behind price action
this has been commented on ad nauseum by mathemeticians and some very good articles have been written on this.
