I remember hearing this on a college station a looooong time ago and called the DJ to ask who they were. I even got the album because of the song but recall not liking many of the other songs on the album. A weird techno/jazz fusion style. *shrugs* You may like their other stuff. The following is a pic of their album cover with that song (It was the piano hook that caught me, heh)...

The Girl From Ipanema is not a weird song once Eartha Kitt (RIP) gets a hold of it. It becomes hot and sexy. Man, those music analysts need to get laid.
