I was in Kefalonia, Greece, last week.
I have seen many islands and I come from the Mediterranean. This was my favourite, ever.
Nearly crime free, everyone kind and polite, no drunks, no stupid gangs or dirty looks... I saw one police car in a week and I drove all around the island.

A different planet even compared to its neighbours (like Italy or Turkey).
A dream.

Then, I flew back under the clouds, back to stinky London, and woke up.

I live there! Just back from another small vacation in Italy where I come from.

Any tip on best Indian in London?

I have worked with some chefs from India and tried the best carry made by them, nothing compared.
But then I don't keep up with best restaurants in town.

we are by paddington station but had dishoom and hoppers.

We are going to gymkhana next week.

A few years ago I went to a small town called Rotherham in the UK and the friend who I was visiting took me to a local Pakistani restaurant and it was definitely one of my top dining experiences of all time. Incredible food.

Any tip on best Indian in London?

Cinnamon Club in Westminster does Indian tasting menu with wine flights etc and is excellent, but lots of the Bengali restaurants east of the City provide great food in less opulent dining rooms.
