GOP struggle widens as Boehner rebukes hard right

Quote from Lucrum:

Someone should tell that POS cry bay "boner" that Reining in government over reach and spending along with restoring the Constitution isn't the "hard right".
It's the common sense right.

These old school repubs are just pissed off because they know Tea Party people like myself are gaining popularity by leaps and bounds. With all the lunacy that's gone on for years, people are begging for common sense, no bs leadership.

we need to support boehner primary opponents.

he sold us out on the shut down
he is now funding obamacare.
what is wrong with that guy.

the republican pundits need to come out against this guy early an often before he kills our voting block with amnesty.

I rewrote but I stand behind it.

He is putting down conservatives which makeup more than 50 percent of the party.

And he has the gall to act like he has helped us.

Where in the world does he think he helped us.
He has conspired against conservatism every time I have checked.

What does he stand for except more money in his leadership account.

Quote from Lucrum:

A spineless slime ball.

It's called pandering, and it will certainly cause harm at the voting booths. We're literally witnessing America coming apart.

BOOM! Dan Bongino serves the GOP establishment with divorce papers
Posted by The Right Scoop on December 12th, 2013 in politics

Dan Bongino just wrote this open letter and I second it:

An open letter to the establishment GOP.

I am serving you with divorce papers. For those who are unaware of what happened, the establishment wing of the Party has openly declared war on the grassroots.

For those who say this fight is hurting the Republican “brand” I reply; it is those on both sides of the aisle who have betrayed their principles in the name of Party, that have destroyed their “brands”.

As for the GOP, we used to stand for something; a lean, effective government, vibrant and robust individual liberty, and a passionate defense of the value of hard work and a commensurate respect for your wages by consistently fighting for your right to keep more of them. Where do you stand now? I know where the grassroots does.

This is our Party and we will demonstrate to the people we hope to represent that there is a group of people out there who refuse to be part of any “managed decline”. We will only be part of a spectacular American resurrection.

America’s best days are ahead and you and your fellow insiders and cronyists and “Party before country” loyalists, on both sides of the aisle, can bathe in your titles and power now but understand that I, and many others, have dedicated our lives to draining the dirty water from the bathtub.

Consider yourself served.

The article in the OP was accurate in one respect, Boehner has essentially declared war on the Tea Party. Much of the rest of the article is typical leftwing media wishful thinking however.

They keep saying the government shutdown hurt republicans badly. Sorry, I don't see it. I saw Obama come off as a petty asshole when he closed those parks and monuments. As much as the media tried to spin it, the image of him barring WW II vets from their own memorial was a total disaster for him. People are not so stupid that they think he was forced to do that by the republicans.

The Tea Party groups do face a dilemma. Their candidates fumbled away three or four easily winnable Senate races. That hurt us all, not just the establishment republicans. And better Scott Brown, even if he is a RINO, than nutcase Elizabeth Warren.

But at some point we have to say enough. Enough of voting for guys just because they are not quite as bad as the democrats. Why can't we vote for people who share our values and stand for something? What's so terrible about that, except for the fact it makes it tougher for the republican establishment to sell us out on things that Big Business wants like amnesty.

I think I'll start a pool on who goes first. Boehner or Shanahan.

I've already all but abandoned the GOP for anyone that's anything but establishment. The only "republicans" I'll support in the future will be tea party approved candidates.

Voting today:

* We can vote for the common sense person who's basically got no chance of winning thanks to the msm, and disinterested people who don't think their vote counts.

* We can vote for the republican who's just a little better than the mentally ill democrat, but not much better, and is an old school political crony.

Can you say HELP?!?!?!!!!:(

+1. I'm surprised. But the Koch bros and Murdoch are not going to like him now. He just put a target on his back.
Hopefully he's still got a bit more authority in government than the Kock brothers do. I wonder what crap is going to spew out of Sarah "don't retreat, reload" Palin's piehole now.
