An Ohio GOP county chairman has deleted a social media post that appeared to imply that the wildfires ravaging California were "God's punishment" for the "liberal" state.

“Look, that’s a meme," Johnson told the news outlet. "And it’s how I feel about liberals, but did I mean that God is going to punish everyone who lives in California? No. It’s a figure of speech, and I probably shouldn’t have done it.

Did the dumbass who said that realize that Paradise, CA was literally the city in the US with the most churches per capita?

To Californians and residents of other Liberal states:

The California wildfires are God’s punishment excessive Liberalism The fires will continue, in the dry season at least, until all sinners repent. Further, continued sinning will be met with a major earthquake in the not-to-distant future.

Vote Republican, and get on the Right side of God before it is too late. Don’t forget, there are many churches available in your area and you best attend one ASAP, even if your reason is “Just in case...”.

Seems to me that a lot of states that voted Republican get the worst of the flooding. Hopefully they built their churches on higher land.

The missionary was already “saved” before he even left for the trip and it now spending eternity at God’s side in Heaven if I am understanding Christianity correctly.

Or maybe God was pissed off because the missionary took a wreckless chance with his life as it was illegal to approach the island because fishermen had been killed by the natives before. After all, a Christian is also supposed to take care of themselves.
