It's relevant because his father used influence on his behalf numerous times, and we have a right to know the sort of person he was intervening for. Second, much of the sleaze is clearly disguised bribes for Joe himself, just like the Clinton family slush fund. If nothing else, the conflicts of interest are shocking. The Chinese financially own the son of a guy who wants to be president. It's bad enough that they own Feinstein and McConnell, but the president as well?
