Google Glass Invite For Sale

Greetings,

I have been chosen to be a Google glass explorer. I have an invite on its way to attend and purchase Google Glass at the event. The invite is for sale at $5000.00 USD. Thought I would offer it here, pre EBAY were it will be listed at a substantially higher reserve. thanks

You agreed in the fine print that you will not auction off your invite. This has been attempted already by others and Google revoked the privilege.

This is about as cheesy and low class as when you taped a PBS documentary and resold the VHS copies for a couple grand.
 
Under the Google Glass terms of service for the Glass Explorer pre-public release program, it specifically states, “you may not resell, loan, transfer, or give your device to any other person. If you resell, loan, transfer, or give your device to any other person without Google’s authorization, Google reserves the right to deactivate the device, and neither you nor the unauthorized person using the device will be entitled to any refund, product support, or product warranty.”

I believe the fine print states that you can not sell or auction google glass itself, not the invite. Several have sold for over $10k per my information. You wont be able to get an invite any cheaper than my price, I am sorry that you cant' swing it, but I am not lowering the price.

Correct, it reads "device" not "invite" --- thanks for the clarification. Any Offers??

You can't sell the invite, either. They're going to sell for $1,500 in three months. I don't see the invite being worth much even with Google's blessing.

Not a single invite nor device has been sold on ebay.

That's a contract of adhesion--- they will have issues when it comes to enforcing that particular language. BUt thanks for letting me know. I'll make certain the buyer is well aware of the stipulations/risks.
