I guess I worded that poorly. Assuming GOOG closes down $40.00 after hours. Where would it open in relation to the afterhours sessions. Not asking for a crystal ball reading but from past experience where would it open in relation to the after hours close. thanks.

Thats not a silly question as to were GOOG will open, the futures may ramp up overnight, and GOOG could open @ 550.00.

Never underestimate the magic of the futures in overnight trade. 90% of the time they are up.

Lets just see were GOOG opens in the morning.

my guess would be a gap up so that if it closes down $40.00 maybe it opens down $35.00, just a guess though.

I bought a bunch of August $540 Calls. Going to be easy fucking money today I think.

I think I saw more buy recommendations for GOOG today than any other day in its history. Might get back to $530 today.

I wish it would go one way or another...one thing is certain, it's slowing down with volume on an increasing price...I think we see it higher today. I'm hoping so anyway.
