A mixed day. I didn't lose anything but I didn't make much. I made $210 and spent ABOUT $90 making it. NT traded very actively today and I managed not to make much. I suck.....

I had 18 buy executions, 13 buy executions, and 120,200 shares traded.

Tomorrow will be a better day!
 
Why do you need to catch up on the overnight and morning news if you are only trading NT, and just looking to make a penny a trade. If I was trading like that I wouldn't get to the office until 9:29am.
 
Good job with the journal goodpunk, I have been reading it since december. I have a question. How much money can you currently use to trade?

I'm hung over. Everybody went to happy hour yesterday to say farewell to a fellow trader. I got wasted, I feel like shit. I don't think I'm going to trade the afternoon.

Not a bad day considering that I'm stuck in a position right now. I shorted NT at 2.96 got filled for 2,300 shares and now I'm just hanging out.

The day was really slow. Nortel only had 14 million shares traded today and it sucked. But I managed to make some money nonetheless.

I made $230 and spent $40 making it. Although I might end up taking a loss with these 2300 shares. Whatever.....

I will have 9 buy executions, I have 9 sell executions, and 116,300 shares traded.
 
I made $203 yesterday. I couldn't stand to be in the position after the market closed so I took a penny loss.

I was thinking last night about what I do for a living. I thought about all the shitty moments, the anger, the emotional rollercoasters, and those great moments of accomplishment. I came to the conclusion that I LOVE THIS SHIT! This is the only thing I've ever done in my whole life that I can say I truly, truly love. I've never had fun at any job that I've ever had. But I manage to have fun here everyday.
