Hey,

I had to leave early on Friday so that I could drop something off at NYU.

I made $160 and spent about $5 making it. I had ABOUT 20 buy fills, 25 sell fills, and about 110,000 shares traded.

That was my first up day in a long time. I actually made most of it in NT. All my rebates came from JDSU and SUNW. It's funny, NT had it's first day with decent volume in almost a month and a half.

Good Morning!

Well this weekend was interesting. Saturday was a well spent day. I enjoyed a nice bike ride through the local park, sacrificed brain cells for some time with my PSP, had a few beers with friends, and slept like a baby. Sunday was even better. I went out with friends, played some wuffle ball, and enjoyed having to do nothing.

The markets sold off hard last week. The question I keep hearing now is, "Can we be entering a new bear market?" The idea isn't that crazy. Even falling oil prices are indicative of cooling demand. Personally, I think that this is simply the market discounting higher interest rates. I don't think its a change of trend but simply a correction. But then again, what do I know?....

Good Trading!

Hey Goodpunk, got something brewing at NYU? I met a lot of good people that went through that school.

I had an order get stuck, got filled, and then I lost $548 on it. The firm is busting the trade so that's not a problem. But it's distracting......I'm down $100 now, so my P&L actually reads, "-$646." It's doing a number on my attitude.

I know a few people. Someone close to me graduated from there and is going to graduate school there too.

Cool, I'm applying this summer for the part-time MBA program beginning in the spring (my employer is paying 100%, hard to pass up free grad degree).

Is your friend attending grad full or part-time? I'm just starting to study for the GMATs and such, let me know if he has any pointers on the application process, thanks! Congrats on your up day. :)

Where do you work? Is it a finance related position? Free MBA is a great deal. Doesn't it cost around 35k a year?

She said, "Get letters of recommendation and have a high fucking G.P.A."

Its only free if you get good grades. This is the setup many finance employers use:

A= 100% covered.
B = 80%
C= 50%
Below C = 0%

Try getting good grades while working full time, not an easy task.

Hey guys I didn't post yesterday's results because I left at 12pm. I lost another $210 so I decided to call it quits for the day.

Well, after a day like yesterday, I feel petrified. I've lost so much money since the second week in March I really feel undisciplined. I guess it is simply the cost of business.

Good Trading!
