Interesting how a lot of those, after achieving success in this country, go all Soros type-like and start wanting to make it more difficult for anyone to do the same, creating conditions even worse for the commoners and optimum conditions for the few. Whether intentional or just the result of their flawed reasoning.

You can't mention Thomas Jefferson and Adam Smith and then the opposite Soros. Maybe it was the weed or alcohol in his farewell, drop out letter.

The primary reason industrial hemp is not allowed here is because widespread cultivation of industrial hemp will put several industries and farming sectors out of business.

The business philosophy is the same as keeping alternative energy from becoming ubiquitous and successful. Think of all those oil related industries that would go broke, the resulting un-employment and loss of govt. revenue from each gallon of gasoline sold.
