Goodbye VIX

Looking to go long VXX but waiting for the actual VIX to drop to 12-14 range.

It doesn't take much for the VIX to jump 50% in a week or two when the markets begin to correct quickly.
 
Sad. I hope it goes back up. I remember the days of selling puts for 3-4 dollars, calls for 2-3 bucks and collecting fat premiums

now those same puts only sell for like 1.20-1.50

Looks like the easy money watering hole is drying up.
 
Oh, VIX. I sure hope you didn't pack for a long trip away from us.

Just remember the fun we had when we were both high, and rush on back up here, okay?
 
VXX will perpetualy go towards zero. It will need to be split over and over. Arbing kills guys like VXX, faz, fas, ..

Sure you might see a rip here and there but long term, it doesnt matter what the market does really, VXX will always head lower.
