Goodbye to e-mini's

That was this morning's action, I use e-signal and ensign, about $150 month, broker is IB. For economic reports it's best to look at the calenders of major financial newspapers like Financial Times. Influence of single company reports isn't any different from major US-companies, sometimes it moves the market, sometimes it doesn't. Guidance by tech companies like Nokia or Siemens tends to have a bigger influx, which is rather common, I think.

Ditch,

thank you for your answer - greetings to the netherlands from austria!

I've tried Quotetracker with IB feed yesterday. Estxx quotes were different in QT than in IB's TWS. I have no idea why.

good info - i've found IB's symbols ok, and also Esignal's (ET Z2-DT right now, i believe) - but when i try to add Eurex to my Esignal account, it's nowhere to be seen in the account maintenance section (it's in the symbol guide, and it states Eurex is included in the european data available but....) ???

Ditch - how did you get your account entitled to Eurex?

ps what's the symbol situation with Qt - use same as IB i'd imagine.......

thanks

Go to the account maintenance menu at esignal.com, select your futures subscription, under additional services (at the bottom of the page) place a mark on Eurex.

I had the same problem with esignal (couldn't subscribe to eurex market). I had to mail the support that dit it for me.

Edit : It was a trial so may be it was a different case.

aha,

cannot get euro futures with a equities account (i had equities with eminis for $10 extra)...... need a futures account plus the eurex, plus if you want S&P futures still, need CMe etc etc - ah well.....

what are you all using, and do you / can you get Hang Seng Data?

coops

ps QT is ok, for some reason ESTX50 is DTB:@FESX DEC 02 rather than the expected DTB:@ESTX50Z2.....

ESTX50 is the underlying you have to use in IB TWS

FESX is the offical "symbol" given by the EUREX
