Good video bashing trading gurus

It's 3 years old, but I just saw this vid featuring Patrick Boyle on Coffeezilla, and he makes a lot of good points.


There are so many of those dick heads on youtube, it just shows how gullible people can be.

One example is there are so many "traders" driving lambos and yachts who are claiming to offer a "free" service, but are willing to spend a ton of money on ads.

But the one that has been obvious to me for many years is the fact that if a trader is profitable, they simply won't share their strategy. Ugh.

Google only allows us to watch at max 2X speed.
They should increase it to 10X or even 100X.

I guess this is the summary :

You are correct.

Noone will ever show you or give you a profitable strategy they use to make tons of money. They will only lie to you and take your money to sell you dreams.

Traders that can trade, trade to make money and get rich quick.

Traders that can't trade, sell trading lies to make money and get rich quick.

It's just that simple.

I'm assuming you don't read many trading books.
I know of at least 30 multi-millionaire traders who shared their trading strategy.

Need proof? Look up Mark Fisher, yeah the guy who trained all the original
crew who worked for Tudor Investments.

The issue is not that many traders don't share their strategy, it's a fact
that most still can't make them work. WHY? Because almost every
profitable strategy requires DISCIPLINE, and very few know how
to achieve self-discipline.

I DONT KNOW that many;
but plenty of millionaires + multi-millionares will share some pattern fragments.
But I never limit my patterns to TX tea,or black gold, or SPY benchmark or cash copper. .
I reread Master Daytrader, by O Valez [not to be confused with XOM Valdez];
not much of a daytrade book \ but good swingtrade patterns some > XOM drunk driven super tanker Valdez:D:D

Hello mikeriley,

I 1000% disagree with you, plus another 1000% extra more disagree with you.

If someone wants to teach someone how to trade, it is SOO easy. Easy a pie. WE (retail traders are trained to think trading is HARD, its not).

It goes like this to teach a wanna be trader how to be RICH trading.

FIRST and foremost, teacher needs provide student clear cut proof of millions of dollars made from trading. DO not even proceed to the below until this is DONE! PERIOD.

Teaching Plan:
Step 1: Teacher invite student to his trading office and sit directly next to the teacher for 100 trading days. Screen share will work as well.

Step 2: Student watch the the Teacher trade every day for 100 trading days.

Teaching is DONE in 100 days or less.

DONE. We not stop making trading so damn complex. IT IS NOT.

Traders struggle because they do not know anyone making serious money. And traders do not want to make serious money trading. They trying to trade for a living rather than trade to get rich QUICKLY.

We're still waiting for you to post your 100 ES contracts-per-trade trades, which you said is how you will get rich quickly trading. What is taking so long?
