BTW Roger McGuinn's 12 string Rickenbacker guitar and double audio compression were a game changer that influenced a generation of rock guitarists. Everyone wanted that chiming, ringing, mind-filling sound. This, and the solid vocal harmonies and gentle slurs between notes, gave this band a unique sound that many tried to get right but few truly succeeded, and made it a favorite of mine.
