Actually as a retail customer, I have found that I often get better than bid/offer when i do so. Sometimes my size is even bigger than posted bid offer (but not by a lot).

Of course, most of us would due to the HFT guys jumping in front by some amount, then laying the trade off with another series.

someone bought 26.07 in OFF as well. This is like putting a market order in spx options just asking for it. Maybe Corzine is trading.
