But wait, how did he get away with such a clear and known to everybody involved (his friends/neighbors etc.) fraud case?
...I only read the first or 1 or 2 screen pages, think I should also read the last page...
Actually, it was a rather boring read and the guy was an idiot. He didn't even gain the money, just lost it than ran away. Rather small amount too, he would have got probably just a few years. My guess is that he was ashamed because the investors were mostly family and friends.
