Anyone live by this quote - " rather be out of a stock you wish you were in, than in a stock you don't want to be in" ? I heard it from someone and it has saved me a few times...

Looks to me like a good arguement for doing nothing. Looks like a quote based on fear. I am afraid of losing but the bright side is I'm not winning.

I have never heard that quote, but I do live by its meaning. If I don't like a position for whatever reason, I get out.

I don't like it.

My favorite is this one (Mark Twain): "What gets us into trouble is not what we don't know, it's what we know for sure that just ain't so."
