Good Charting Software at a Low Cost?

Hard to beat TradingView for feature set and value offered. They are constantly developing Pinescript, it has has come a long way. Also, lot’s of ideas in the social feeds.

Also, they usually run a great Black Friday special.

Medved Trader has full integration with TD Ameritrade for stocks and options data and trading, and for futures data, so you don't need to pay for another datafeed unless you need higher end data

The charting is dramatically better and MT has fully customizable hotkeys so you can configure your trading however you want.
 
Stock charting software is not just charting alone. Besides charting, there are indicators, screening and backtesting. Ninja Trader is a free alternative. It has powerful scripting and free EOD. I use Amibroker and it has these features except free EOD. The learning curve is steep. Having programming skill is a plus.

Also limits number of symbols+ HAS no OPEN PRICE,
but while i record [ college rule notebook]open price, i use close price more.......................
 
I trade with IB, charts are fine for what I do. Also have TC 2000 for running screens. It's a really good program. Had Ensign in the past (when it was DOS with BMI satellite feed, LOL) and it's also very good and works with an IB feed as well as others. I will say this, the less I rely on charts/indicators, the better my trading. Doesn't mean I don't look at charts, just don't place ALL weight on the chart.
