For instance, you take the word "Nigger." There is absolutely nothing wrong with the word "Nigger" in and of itself. It's the racist asshole who's using it that you ought to be concerned about. We don't mind when Richard Pryer or Eddie Murphy say it. Why? Because we know their not racist. Their Niggers! Context. Context. We don't mind their context because we know their black. By the same argument, you don't want blacks in your neighborhood because statistics show more black involved in crime? In the schools your children go to, you don't want blacks around because they will dumb down the bell curve given lower test scores?

I won't make any bones about. As a group, no matter if in the U.S., Jamaica, J'Burg, London or Sudan, compared to whites, blacks are violent assholes. Period. Anyone who debates against the truthfulness of my statement is a moron.
This thread is ultimately about the effects of language rather than any examination of actions. Always an interesting topic as I'm one to belive, actions speak louder than words. Hence many who are portrayed as "bigots" or "racists" may ultimately be less prejudiced or more helpful to blacks than those who portray themselves as color blind.
Here's a comparison. True stories. I grew up with a guy who inherited a small and barely profitable manufacturing plant on Chicago's west side. I imagine "back in the day" the employees were all white (as was Lawndale) but over the years his workforce has transitioned to black. (if I were to ask him now he'd probably say his staff is more and more Mexican).
In any case he had the typical problems endemic to the blue collar boss. Absenteeism, theft, vandalism and often below par quality of work. This guy would rail about blacks like nobodies business. Even though by his own estimate most of his employees were good people, a typical night out would with him would include comments like, "these fuckin nigs are so stupid...."
Even for me, his remarks would get a bit old. But on the other hand I knew he was in a business dependant on black workers, that he had to commute into a VERY shitty neighborhood each day and that bottom line at least 30 black men were able to feed themselves off this guys dime each week. In other words he walked the walk.
On the other hand, and I'm sure everyone here knows the type, there's the LoZZZer in suburban San Diego or theTradernot lib in Canada who'd be shot before they'd ever use the dreaded "n" word and who gladly write checks to the NAACP or who think voting for Obama, rooting for Tiger and belonging to Oprah's book club make them racially sensitive. But how many of them even live in risky black areas let alone employ thirty blacks? By the dozen one of my friends will be forced into some leafy suburb by his whiny wife (who's usually some self righteous uber-lib bitch) as soon as they have kids. "Why'd you guys move?", I'll ask the wife. You guys already know the routine. "Well, we were concerned about the schools" i.e. (there were too many black kids bringing down the performance standards) Or, "after the third time our garage was broken into we'd had enough." Or "gangs were getting to be a problem" (as if their blonde haired moppets were candidates for membership in the Black Gangster Disciples).
IMO, those reasons are GOOD reasons to book out of the inner city. But don't pretend that you didn't leave because of the blacks! Places like the Bronx and the South Side of Chicago went from all white to all black in 20 years yet both those areas have produced suburban liberals who're aghast at the "n" word, who think Trent Locke is a cracker and who delude themselves that they're "open minded." No they're not. They're freakin' hypocrites. By fleeing the old 'hood they've engaged in de facto segregation that's WAY worse than the guy who professes to "hate niggers" yet employs them. It's like people who live in gated communities high up in Beverly Hills shitting on the Rodney King officers. If you're so liberal why the fuck don't you move to Watts!!

Hey, I'm 100% with Bill Cosby. My post was just meant to reaffirm Pabst's status as a disgusting bigot, something he's tried, in the past, to claim he isn't, although he seems to be backing off now that he's using racist epithets without prompting and professing his love for Hitler and his feeling that we'd all be better off had Hitler won the war in Europe. Pabst is free to call blacks 'shines' and I'm free to call Pabst a brain-dead white trash cunt. No problem there. I'm as prejudiced against morons like Pabst and pattersb as they are against people who don't look like them.
Blacks are definitely the architects of a lot of their own problems, there's no question about that. And yes, academic PC chill has resulted in a situation in which it's hard to talk about these things without being labelled a racist. Let's not fool ourselves, though. These guys are the reason that concerns about racism remain - they are poster children for it.
