How many people will go to jail over this blatant theft of Billions of dollars? Probably nobody but if you rob a store for beer or you steal a car, off to jail you go. My friends grandpa told him 20 years ago that you could steal a lot of money with a pen. Some of the banksters already knew that and another bunch of them just figured it out over the last 10 years.

It's not fair to save 1 bunch guys that should have known better but let others go under. Let C and other weak links go under so everyone can move on!
 
call it a high risk trade/ a gamble/ a whatever you want. but putting an extremely small % of your account in this may just well pay off nicely over the next 12 months. your only risking a $1.50
 
What about the Saudi Prince, bin-Waleed. He still has a big stake in C, so he'll be losing billions.

And he can't even go running to his buddy Dubya for help now either. :p
 
Is the Saudi prince considered part of the Saudi government? If so, the Citi may have to sell it's stake in Banamex. The Mexican government doesn't allow banks that are majority owned by foreign governments to do business there.
