Good brokerage with top notch platform and competitive rates

I'm looking to toy around with ES on a separate retail account. What's a good rate for 1 car RT these days? It used to be somewhere around $3.50-4.00 few years back...... any top notch executing platform will be appreciated as well.
 
Just brokerage fees or all-in w/ exchange and clearing fees as well?

And, separately, with or without considering platform fees? You need to factor those in for the brokerages that limit you to a certain few platforms.
 
check out speedtrader, i've been with them for a few months and love it so far. i also like their platform, das trader (but they call it speed trader for whatever reason)
 
depending on your trading volume, high volume i would say advantage futures, low volume velocity futures, medium volume infinity futures. all offer numerous platforms and flexible commission structures.
