Good book for learning about fundamental analysis?

I don't know all that much about reading and coming up with a valuation for a company. Can someone recommend some texts for a guy who didn't go to business school, but instead was an engineering monkey?

Not my business, but your background sounds better for learning about and applying Technical Analysis.

Fundamental Analysis is mostly useless except for longer term, value players.

I'd like to use a combined approach and start to construct generic models for understanding what's going on.
