Good beginner trading book?

I'm looking for a book for beginner traders for my students. A few of them have no experience in trading and I would like to provide them with a book that would teach them the basic - intermediate stuff. Things like, bid, offer, specialists when they can buy, short uptick rule, and if possible information on how to read the basics of the open book... such as a huge bid coming in, or offer. Also some basics on reading charts, breakouts, etc.

Just a good beginning introduction to trading for them, before I teach them more complicated stuff.

Thanks,
John

Try this one: A Beginner's Guide To Day Trading Online by Toni Turner.
Was going to suggest the same, but it is focused on equities only (at least the edition that I have does). This was a great starter book.

Nitro.....

That book is way over the heads of beginners.

Try this one: A Beginner's Guide To Day Trading Online by Toni Turner.
Hmmm,

Maybe it is and I have lost touch with what it was like when I was first starting...It's been so long ago... I just assume that all this stuff is obvious. I don't mean to sound elitist, I really believe that.

nitro :(
