Some people that make money with trading/investing\ use the word'' predict'' LOL See any ''predictionLOL'' patterns here that help ??LOL
Walls Street Bets., they named the website. I would not call that a bet/but buy the MSFT dip in tech 6 months ago was a good Wall Street Bets call.
Lets see what tech,QQQ does by FRIDAY, this week.NOT a prediction + sure not a bet. Buy monday tends to work well, not a bet, some maybe selling if that doesnt work......

Okay, I understood what you wrote there. My Turtle-ese must be getting better.
 
Being good at things needs time, I am sure that in starting you were not even good at poker, you have attained skills for that and then you are good at poker now. In the same way you need to devote time to trading also, studying charts and predicting trends will take time and you will become better there also. Wish you good luck!

Thank, I remember first time I play live I called all in with AK suited on the river, with straight and flush draw against Qs and lost. Thing with trading is that no body tell me the odds. I get to find out my own. It takes so much more time to learn and give my self confidence to stick with it.

Trading/investing/collecting dividends may look easy.IT sometimes is/sometimes is not.
But like Investors Business Daily noted ''new traders want to much+ do to little work''
ONCE @ Shell Oil Station the lady gave me a bunch of ''win free coffee tickets with gasoline purchase'' I would not call that gambling/LOL. I did win a coffee+ i thought to myself i hope that was ok her giving me a bunch of free tickets:caution::caution:
 
Not necessarily. While a good poker player will have the skills to become a good trader (ie an understanding of variance, patience, emotional control, and a logical thought process) they are different games. You won't become an overnight 'crusher' at trading because of a background in poker. From my experience, I would suggest not. You better keep playing on this reliable casino, because Poker includes ‘reading’ people, so if you play in person then trading skills, which are mostly analytical, may not give you the edge you need.
