Good at poker bad at trading, how could that be?

I play 1-2 no limit weekend poker and overall a winner, playing the low limit table I just do all the standard play, fold when odds are against me, and I forget bad beat quickly because I know the odds.
But when I trade future I jump in and out chasing breakout and price action like going all in preflop with 2-7 and look for homerun. I got mad after i got stopped out and market reversed and over bet the next trade.
It is like two extreme of me. Sometimes I feel like I have Multiple Personality Disorder. I guess that's something to do with not knowing the odds in trading? I always thought poker is gambling and trading is buisness but I act the reversed. I am mentally fXXXed up.

low limit games are different from high limit games, bigger money bigger stress
low limits are relaxing/enjoyable high limits stressful different emotions, different skill sets
trading requires similar skills ability to think clearly under stressful conditions
trade only with money you can afford to lose that way stress is minimized
i can only imagine the stress of trading with rent money, that will distort everything and lead to terrible decision making

For the mental part check out articles from trading psychologist like Rande Howell, Brett Steenbarger, Andrew Menaker.

In poker there is a defined start and end to each game so your losses are limited and you have time to regroup. In trading, only you define the start and end for each trade. A common problem is letting a loser run when it should have been cut a long time ago. Mentally, poker and trading are worlds apart.

You are certain of the mathematical odds, likelihoods, and probabilities at the table.

You are not certain of the historical mathematical odds, likelihoods, and probabilities once you enter a trade.
