Been playing quite a bit lately, Now beating all my friends consistently. I notice that even though I don't want to, the closer I stand to the ball the more accurate I am and I really don't lose distance.

Even if my meter is incorrect as far as exact measurement, I have raised my swing speed relative to this meter by 10 to 20 mph.

On average I would say I have increased drives 40 yards. I have improved accuracy by standing a little closer to the ball and turning my back to the target.
