LOL. Did you read the article? It says one of their (biggest) funds assets declined, partly due to withdrawals.

This has nothing to do with corporate balance sheets or accounting.

Yes, I did read it. Don't drink the kool-aid: it's easier to digest having a fund with a loss then directly attributing it to the recent wave of credit issues that has hit everyone else. It also says that it's due to "investors leaving". It failed to mention who they were....(need some hints?? perhaps they worked for Goldman or recently left??)
