Goldman Sachs Traders Are The Best !!

Quote from wilddog:

You do know that the commissions that investment banks charge HF and others is for the research. It falls under Research Sales. That excludes tags analyst get. There is an internal conflict between Sales Trading and Research Sales.

If somebody called you with an idea that made you money you would give them the trade. That is the theory.

Yeah. I know. My wife used to be in research sales. I had several trading roles within a major bank. The revenue you described falls under sales and trading. How it gets split between a trader, sales trader, research sales man, and research analyst is a political struggle. And all four of those guys are generally paid out of sales and trading income.

Quote from syswizard:

The banks are doing algorithmic trading. I witnessed this at JPM when I was contracting there last year. They were doing it in the Forex spot market.
However, this was not a big portion of their overall trading volume.
Is there any other way to quote spot forex?

Where do the giant companies get multi-billion dollars for trading? They can move the markets from investors money. This is the reason Gold and Silver price is not going sky-high.

Quote from 74Man:

Not a single losing year from year 2000 to year 2010.

I am associated with a highly reputed Forex managed company who manages about $100 million and they have for past 11 years paid average profit of +27% per annum without compounded interest.

Income/profit is "Tax-free" for most countries of the world.

This managed forex company was started/registered 22 years back. But the CEO (forex manager) has some 35+ years of forex experience and has a registered company in Switzerland.

Our company also trades in Gold & Silver, S&P 500. Minimum investment $20,000, $40,000 and $100,000
