Goldman Bonuses

wishing you hadn`t moved on to 'greener pastures'?

i dated a girl who answered phones at merill in houston....and she got 5,000 bonus in 2001...so i bet gs-new york personal assistants make 20,000 in bonuses this year just off the top of my head maybe 25,000. 18,000-25,000 range.

When I worked there last year doing bitch work in Prime Brokerage Operations no one I know at the firm doing operations made over a 10% bonus, IF THAT.

I know the traders and Investment banking dudes make good bank come bonus time. I'm interested in hearing some numbers.

It's the VPs/Heads of trading desks and Managing Directors that take a huge chunk out of that. Same for every top broker/dealer/bank. Little trickles down past VP level.

It is probably also part stock/options, mostly for the head execs. GS prints money, kinda like a bank but in a more evolved fashion. And it's not due to talent, more due to special privilieges. The NYSE/Arca deal is a great example.

lol... GS is not your problem... find your setups and trade them.

lets just hope the tape doesnt get destroyed by the greedy. if not, there will always be a place for the good trader.
