The thing is leverage.

If I play cash, I am 100% sure that I can beat the bank interest.

The issue is the leverage, and high interest charge like IB.
 
I see...But in Cash Forex Interest is paid on the leveraged amount..sometimes you pay and sometimes you receive...but its on the leveraged amount...

but your point is that you do not use margin...I think i understand you.

No leverage introduces less risk and limits it to your bankroll...

Folks,

I had to get flat and take the loss...

I am now flat and have 10k left...

but I will now trade the new idea and see how it goes here in this thread...

P.S. I actually feel pretty good about the project considering I just lost 30% of my account....At least now I have a plan with stops and a reasonable enough edge (I think) to bank some profit.

I just lost 4k .....I took the loss....I will not carry three losing positions any longer...

I also withdraw and deposit money to the account...that is my own money from my job...but not the case just now...

I can lose money too!!! But this is trading and I am very happy to limit further losses ....and to finally trade with stops..I believe in these arch's but cannot ride a trade so long without stops...without stops I will eventually always find the carry trades and give back anything that I make and more while waiting to reach them...

sorry your confused....

I am going to take Wifey to Dinner..be back maybe with some entries later on tonight...

so it is for real not 'this is a test' or loss on one side but gain on other side, etc...I had been there too many times so it is no supprise, maybe you ought to check out some more reg tool like Fib levels or keltner band since nobody know exactly what those curv thingy do.
 
It has never been a test...anywhere in these arch threads...

I have discussed a new way to use the arches that I would like to try...

I will be happy to trade publically for a while if there are readers.
