How is the rescale going? Currently, when I funnel down to a four hour with the MT4 timeframe buttons, the arches draw and appear to be functioning...the constant scale changes are an inconvienience and must be manually adjusted to view all of the lines...but the arches seem to draw...

Sorry ES, been googling for a while still no luck on rescaling the price window through code. Min max values can be read but still haven't seen anything that will set it (other than manually)...

I see you've made some minor adjustments to your methodology. i.e. you are now also including agreement of the CR in the 4HR time frame. Another point, you've mentioned that the 5minute demarker is used for all entries across all timeframes but it would seem that you now will use the demarker in the secondary timeframe?

Oh, and about the format, personally I prefer a tabular format, just easier to read I guess...

re: rescaling main chart
Greetings all
I concur with fifo re not being able to rescale the main chart window programmatically. Metatrader scripting language has no means to do this.
On another matter: I have attached a multi-timeframe demarker indicator that I put together to time my entries in the 15-min timeframe. (I also use murray-math for timing...not direction). It may be useful, though probably not on the real small windows that ES uses.
Cheers

Yeah some tests with minor adjustments..thanks!

I think that for now, hedging will tame the DD...there was a poster here that said he traded without stops and used hedging and traded bi-directionally, but I cannot find his post.

I will be leaving this thread open for a while, as suggested earlier, even after the "Golden Arch's trading gets under way in the new thread.

Everything is as scheduled and planned for 02/13/07.

Stops will be utilizing hedging and exposure mangement. Offsetting losses and profits may be taken together to net out zero profit on a basket of exits..

The different timeframes seem to work and I am partial to the safer and longer timeframes that the Daily and the four hour represent...Also less trading...

oh well...can't have everything...maybe in the future they will do some upgrades in MT4 and add a check box for a price pane indicator to utilize "view-sensitive indicator scaling"...

The trade duration of the NZD/USD has been longer than I had expected, but the entry criteria was in development and this trade was made in the early stages. The Daily CR remains long, but the 4 hr. CR is short, with a DeMarker Sell zone signaling. USD will need a Hedge, to maintain low DD. The max DD seen is -11.59%, in these 11 days of tracking. At 5:00 AM (mst) is the GBP interest rate statement and 6:30AM (mst) the USD unemployment claims.
