gold spot and future trading

Gentlemen

1.Retail trading with "spot" gold was long time offered from FX broker ,which are based in Swiss as example forex.ch ,realtimeforex.ch &

But Swiss is not regulated market for forex .

2.Last time Oanda offered trading spot gold and silber with margin 1:50 .
OANDA is a registered Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA ID #0325821).

Oanda is not pure agent of principal ,but Infinity,Openecry,
Velocity,TA,PA,Mirus,AMP and all another's ,which offer zg,zi alsov not

3 .ZG ,ZI trading offered from SEC broker as OXPS ,SWIM
with possibility switching funds to SIPC protected account

OXPS ,SWIM in relation to trading stock and options are pure agents of principal's .


Any relevant evaluation ,comparsion zg against spot gold would welcome ...

zg is a futures contract on gold

perhaps in your country there is an

"exchange traded fund" that tracks the

spot price of gold less fees

sir .... if you are going to wet your feet in futures

then may I suggest the mini contract "YG" ?

of you are 1000 % sure you are a great trader of gold
then it does not matter what I say does it ?

also ... see if your broker will offer GC

this has more volume than ZG

also ... make sure you know what month to trade

From author point of view ,better play only paper contest .

No risk,No commission and prize money(that can be 100 k$) is not taxed
from germany law . In another case tax until 40 %

95 % of retail sector with years would loose .

Doctrin of the author - not to send to any broker any cent ,with exception
for prize money ,which won in trader contest without entry charge

Only prize money can be loosed multiple time . But in this worst
scenario author would better as 95%
another operators' in retail sector .

Can loose only great amount of the time ,but that is as in all
another hobby...

perhaps you can shop around for the best "spread in spot gold"

trading ... maybe there is another forex firm that has better spread than oanda

if you are allowed to trade usa equities then GLD tracks spot gold quite well during 8:30 or 9:30 am until 4:00 - 5:00 pm

EST usa hours

SethArb - Thanks for the info on goldfutures, just what I was looking for!

So GC has the best liquidity?

Would you say GC is the best one for intra-day then?

Are the prices of GC, ZG and YM identical, or is there some difference due to specs or similar?
