Gold/Silver trading - which exchanges these days?

Hi,

Been out of the trading loop for a while. Previously if I traded gold or mini gold I think it was on the CBOT.

Where is it traded now? i.e. what exchange. NYSE Liffe or something?

Everythings changed and I'm confused.

CBOT trading was bought out by NYSE LIFFE and is a reasonable option depending on your strategies.

The most active exchange right now is COMEX through CME.

If you don't mind the hours, TOCOM is probably a decent place to trade.

And there's always the spot metal exchanges... though I imagine that's not for the typical retail trader.
