It only depends on what time frame it has a signal or pattern. And, of course, longer periods requires far more capital. That's why I am doing mostly 1 day interval or hourly scenarios to look for profitable patterns. 6 month scenarios are good but have weekly intervals.
In any way position must be closed if the scenario is fulfilled by pattern or the time frame has come. If a scenario is far from reality it should not be used at all, or it has low volatility or minor patterns.
Attempting to PREDICT which direction a market will move is NOT the way to make money trading. Instead, construct a set of buy & sell rules that REACT to changes in price. No one can predict changes in price accurately over the long run (i.e. predict the future). Anyone who tells you that you can should be put on your ignore list forever.

I believe it is much closer to what will happen in the market.
He is my view on gold for the coming week from May 14th to May 22nd. All data has been calculated using the price of 1215.7 at UTC 6.29. Future price curve is calculated using in-house timing technique.
Predicting gold prices and trading gold is not an easy task. Although, there may be just one good intraday pattern for quick profit during a day that can be of interest to both the traders and short-term speculators, it is recommended to hold swing positions in gold to take advantage of larger moves during the next 7 trading days. So you can make more money following this simple plan.
I expect gold would continue to grow forming today's HI at 1pm UTC (2015/5/14). The second HI will be at 9pm. The last point to consider closing your long positions if any is at 9am on the 15th of May.
Gold opens with gap down on the 18th of May.
Probably will post a video of this gold newsletter soon with chart and more commentary very soon. The strategy is obvious.
