Gold at $500 per ounce

Quote from talknet:

I think you missed my post. Anyway posting it again

56 million reales = $688 million (in 1975)

I think, now $688 million would be worth 10 times that of 1975.

So the value of treaure from one ship alone comes to $7 billion (estimated)

Now think of thousands of Sunken ships. Also think of undocumented/undiscovered "sunken ships"

They've been looking for them for 300 years, and when they foun the gold it sold for many times spot. They are not going to melt it if they find more. You are wasting everyones time typing in the idiotic thread.

I exited my Gold shorts today. I have a feeling we might see one of those huge massive up days soon.

Good luck all
I have some 15 kg ancient gold, jewellry, gold bars. Waiting for Gold to reach $950 in next 10 days (if possible) then I will sell all of it.

Gold is High-risk investment because if someday "massive ancient gold" is discovered, gold price will crash rock bottom without any warning.

Betting the house on it so I hope you are right.

And then you will have a bunch of paper promises for more paper promises from the Fed, backed by the "full Faith and credit" of something or other (probably more empty promises), and the willingness of Americans to pay double the current tax rates.

"Paper is poverty"

Sell your gold and go away.

PS: I think you find a big spread buying and selling collectibles and jewelry, as compared to bars or coins, just because nobody will be sure of any value over spot on them. How can a dealer buy them from you? He has to see, inspect, test, and judge each piece, and that will take days or weeks if its actually ancient, unless you are willing to accept something less than spot for it. With coins, I could call a dealer and have 15 kg of bullion coins sold in 30 min.

Short term Gold will likely go down but that big pattern since March.. - Is it a continuation pattern or a toppy one that takes the market to around 500??..hmm
Silver looks weak..

SILVER LOOKS WEAK???

I don't know how you figure that but I see a textbook breakout taking place, next leg up on the way is what looks most probable.

Silver has been bumping its head on the 23% retracement from the high earlier in the year at around 11.50 and just broke through that level by a few cents on Friday.

Next resistance should be in the 13's. I bought 10 PAAS Feb 20. calls on Friday

DONT invest in diamonds - it won't be long before they are producing them by the bucket full and then they become near worthless
