We need to go back to the real gold standard. I think the the monetary system was just one huge bubble (I blame the Chinese). We should revert back a thousand years or so and just carry around little satchels of gold. There's nothing wrong with paying for dinner with gold shavings.

It's on the trendline of the down channel. A perfect short for me.

It is still in a downtrend believe it or not. This is a potential great shorting opportunity. It would need to break 900+ and stay above it in order for the current long term downtrend to be broken.
