Going to NY in 2.5 weeks

I have been planning on surprising my wife with a trip to NY for her birthday, she has never been before. I have been planning on going from 11/16 to 11/19.

For any of you locals or people who visit there frequently, do you think everything will be back up to normal by then so we can still have an enjoyable trip? I am assuming that would be enough time to get most places cleaned up, but I wasnt sure.

Also am waiting to book the hotel in case we can get some good last minute deals lol. Looking at staying at the Westin in times square.

Just looking for some input!

Thanks

Things will be back to "normal" no later than Friday. People here like to channel Montgomery Scott when they estimate things like this.

I went back to work in NY 6 days after 9/11 when we opened that following Monday. I was shocked at how fast that city was hopping again.

That picture didn't load. But I am going to book the trip tomorrow! Hopefully everything is still good to go and will be fine when we get there

Imo, times square to downtown is a couple miles but could be a different planet. Just the way ny is. The mood the vibe the neighborhoods the people are different just blocks away.
