Going LONG on Housing Stocks READ!!! Housing has bottomed!!!

Beazer and toll brothers look like they might have bottomed. Lenar and centex are definitely consolidating but appear they could have more downside.

I'd post charts showing the dramatic difference but I know pnf charts confuse you so I will not bother.

I will also mention that these charts currently look exactly like they did in august 2006 before they plummeted further.

I know exatly what SRS is. But I do remember buying Qcom at 4 and POT at 3...you can't surprise someone the same information twice. The Bad news is being digested.

And screw the homebuilders.....developers are always the last to know.

Quote from GSH1976:

SRS is mainly commercial not residential. The homebuilder stocks have not bottomed and are nothing but trading vehicles. The fundamentals are awful and continue to deteriorate. Wait until the bankruptcies start. BZH is most likely already insolvent and the banks are keeping many builders afloat.

housing has not but the stocks pretty much have.

yes i concur with that, im a grain trader mainly though. dont pay a whole lot of attention to induvidual stocks. but yeah i agree man

Lets discuss this...

Homebuilders make money through building and selling houses. New homes...

The following link is to a chart that I created of new home permits:

http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/attachment.php?s=&postid=1888226

Since 1961, there is a certain line that permits has not crossed and we are getting close to it. The last 4 times since 1961 it touched that line then the building permits shot up.

So if there are more building permits out there then the homebuilders will do better logically speaking.

Will we cross that line in the chart????
