Sorry 'bout the long wait.
Question:
Are you 100% certain of your assessment and conclusions of the Christian God, Bible, and Religion?
If so, how could you be 100% certain?
There are no certainties, only probabilities and with experience its a tad easier to weigh up this.
This may be a long reply because its difficult to condense.
There is no Christian God, if there is a God He's a God of all.
Humans have always speculated/worshipped some type of diety and these religions all evolve, they pop up, become popular/mainstream, then fade, similar to fashion and who is promoting it. Think big, the universe is HUUUGE, do you think this creator has this tiny sect going on earth called Methodist, or Catholic or Baptist or you name any of the myriad sects.
Humans have a tiny brain if they believe they are the select chosen ones or 144 (J/Witness).
Christians have no special attributes, they don't perform miracles that get anyones attention, if they do perform miracles they are one off/chance/luck/fluke and non repeatable. Christians have inflated egos, think they are special but they are nobodies in the scheme of things. Church attendance dwindling. You might get for example Hillsong growing larger but its a flash in the pan, young people drawn in by music and stage acts and having Justin Beiber.
Humans are manipulated. The huge gothic type temples and cathedrals of old, all created by the working class slaving to pay the bill. Huge structures these days standing empty, museums. Huge building resources that are now under utilised. How do you think those in their graves feel about slaving their guts to pay the church to build a cathedral that is now just a city showpiece. That was history and that is the future of religion, lots of activity and wishful thinking which results in zero results.
You know my thoughts on the bible, its man's word, not God's word.
This whole 'God' saga, humans wasting their lives, spinning their wheels, caught up in all sorts of stupid thinking.
But to finish, I'll say this; Christianity is one of the better religions, it does produce ideas of decency, there are beautiful verses in the bible.
I think if you can take the bible without going overboard, don't become a cultist, don't be married to your particular congregation or pastor, have an open mind.
The fact that God created heavens and earth in six days, Noah built an ark and saved humanity, a snake tempted Adam, Job was swallowed by a whale, Moses parted the Red sea, etc etc, these can be taken figuratively, or the details are not important, humans can never prove or disprove.
